12 die during immersion revelry in Pune, Nashik & Jalgaon dists

Ten people have drowned during Ganapati immersions in Pune, Nashik, and Jalgaon, with two others feared dead. A child in Nashik died after being hit by a tractor, and a man in Pune died from chest pain during processions. Additionally, a five-year-old boy drowned after falling into an underground water tank in Moshi. Police have registered a case of accidental death. In another incident, a 26-year-old man fell into the Pavana river during Ganesh immersion and has not been found. Search efforts will resume on Saturday.
