Tight security measures have been implemented at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket stadium in Hyderabad for the cricket World Cup matches. With a seating capacity of 39,000, around 1,500 police officers have been assigned to ensure the smooth running of the event. Measures include the installation of 360 CCTV cameras, anti-sabotage checks, and the deployment of mounted police at various gates. Gate No 1 is exclusively for players, while spectators are allowed through designated gates mentioned on their tickets. Mobile technicians will also be present to check spectators’ phones.
