Commander Inder Singh, a war hero who sank the Pakistani submarine PNS Ghazi in 1971, passed away in Haryana. He was cremated with full state honors. The sinking of PNS Ghazi was a significant moment in the 1971 war. Singh, the captain of INS Rajput, was given the mission to be a decoy ship and successfully sank the submarine. He was awarded the Vir Chakra for his bravery.
