30 Chinese hid employer information, travelled to J&K, Ladakh: ED

Lava International MD Hari Om Rai could face trouble as Vivo’s operations are under scrutiny by law enforcement agencies. The ED claims that at least 30 Chinese individuals entered India using business visas, working for Vivo companies without disclosing it. These individuals traveled to sensitive locations in violation of visa conditions. Rai is accused of providing support to these Chinese nationals and transferring funds to Vivo China. The ED also alleges that Vivo India concealed Chinese control by forging documents. Vivo has stated its commitment to legal compliance and plans to explore legal options.
