393 dengue cases in hospitals in 17 days

The health department of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) reported 393 cases of dengue, 83 cases of malaria, eight cases of falciparum, and six cases of chikungunya from September 1 to 17. In addition, there were also cases of diarrhoea, jaundice, typhoid, and cholera. The health department has taken measures to control mosquito breeding by placing pesticide-soaked balls in various locations where water has accumulated. The department expects the number of dengue cases to increase due to the current weather conditions.
