44 Kerala pilgrims stuck in Israel
A group of 44 people from Kerala, including two priests and a nun, are stranded in war-hit Israel after their pilgrimage to Palestine, Jordan, Israel, and Egypt. The group arrived in Israel on October 7, the day the war broke out, and are currently staying in a hotel. They have been advised not to go out or make phone calls. The Syro-Malabar Church has called on the Indian and Kerala governments to ensure their protection and set up help desks in coordination with the Indian embassy in Israel.
