5 year jail for Major in child abuse case

A Major in the Indian Army has been recommended a five-year jail term and cashiering from service by a general court martial after being found guilty of sexually harassing an 11-year-old girl. The court martial, convened by Maj Gen Y Sheoran, found the allegations to be correct and awarded the punishment under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
