65% of Maruti Suzuki’s automatic cars sold are now AMTs

Overall, Maruti Suzuki has cross a major milestone by selling over 10 lakh automatic cars in India since 2014. The automaker further reports that 65 percent of automatic cars sold today, feature the AGS transmission. The carmaker’s automatic transmission arsenal has also grown over the years. Today it offers 5-speed AGS, 4-speed automatic, 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters and electronic-Continuous Variable Transmission (e-CVT) options.
