Kerala assembly moves to rename state ‘Keralam’

The Kerala assembly unanimously adopted a resolution urging the Centre to change the state’s name to ‘Keralam’. The resolution seeks to officially rename ‘Kerala’ to ‘Keralam’ in the Constitution’s First Schedule.
