Mumbai police have arrested Sub-Lt Braham Jyoti and Simran Teji, key figures in a human smuggling racket to South Korea, along with three others. Using forged documents, they sent people abroad, primarily from J&K. The racket was exposed after a complaint from South Korea’s consulate in Mumbai. Police seized 14 passports, fake stamps, documents of fictitious companies, and bank accounts holding over Rs 2 crore. The accused, including another naval officer, are in custody until July 5 and face multiple charges.
