Watch: Smoke emitting from laptop in bag forces evacuation on flight

An American Airlines flight from San Francisco to Miami was evacuated on Friday due to a laptop emitting smoke found in a passengers. Three people sustained minor injuries during the evacuation and were taken to the hospital. Passengers exited using emergency slides and a jet bridge. The flight was rescheduled for later that day. Passenger Jan Jankai noted a smell of “burned cables” before the evacuation.
