Three militants killed during an ambush in Assam, 3 cops injured

Three HPDC militants were killed in a Bhuban Hills ambush during a police operation in Cachar district. Weapons, including pistols and daggers, were found. Injured policemen were treated at Silchar Medical College and SMCH. The militants’ identities are undisclosed. The initial escape attempt failed. Kachudaram police station and locals were involved. An auto-rickshaw driver was arrested. Awaiting police statement.
