Usha blames IOA ad-hoc body for visa delay

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) blamed its own disbanded three-member wrestling ad-hoc committee for delaying the visas of Paris-bound Antim Panghal’s coach and support staff. IOA president P T Usha stated that the committee failed to include their names in the long list sent to the Paris Olympic Games organizers. Despite Antim’s Olympic quota win in September 2023, the support staff’s visas were delayed. Antim expressed her frustration on social media, criticizing the IOA’s handling of the situation.
