Amit Shah promises ‘white paper’ to ‘protect’ Jharkhand tribals

Union home minister Amit Shah on Saturday criticised Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren, alleging that “land jihad” and “love jihad” have caused demographic shifts in the state. Speaking at a BJP meeting, Shah announced plans for a “white paper” to protect the state’s tribal population. Shah claimed the Tribal population in Jharkhand is decreasing because “infiltrators marry tribal women and buy land in the state.”
