Deployment of UAE’s fighters in China raises concerns in US

The UAE Air Force and China’s PLAAF held a joint exercise in Xinjiang, involving Mirage 2000-9 fighter bombers. The event raised US concerns about China getting access to Western military technology. It pointed to stronger UAE-China ties and significant geopolitical shifts. The UAE’s inclining towards China had shown Washington about the UAE’s level of independence.
