Karnataka cabinet nod to rename Ramanagara district ‘Bengaluru South’

The Karnataka cabinet approved renaming Ramanagara district to ‘Bengaluru South’ to enhance its brand value and infrastructure. Initiated by deputy CM DK Shivakumar, the decision faced opposition from HD Kumaraswamy, who vowed to reverse it.
