Primary classes in Kashmir suspended due to heatwave

On July 29 and 30, classes for primary-level students in Kashmir were suspended due to a heatwave. Both government and private schools were impacted, though staff continued their duties. Residents of Anantnag sought relief in local ponds due to global warming. Divisional Commissioner V K Bidhuri issued the official order addressing the persistent heatwave in the area.
