SC grants bail to NCP neta on medical grounds till plea for regular bail heard

The Supreme Court allowed NCP leader Nawab Malik to stay on medical bail until the Bombay High Court decides on his regular bail plea. Malik’s failing health, including a failed kidney, prompted this extension. Malik had been arrested in February 2022 in a money laundering case tied to fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim.
