Drunk driver mows down college professor in Palghar

In Palghar, Maharashtra, a 25-year-old was arrested after hitting and killing college professor Atmaja Kasat while driving drunk. The incident occurred around 6:30 pm on Thursday near Arnala Sagri police station. Despite being taken to the hospital, Kasat succumbed to her injuries. The driver, Shubham Pratap Patil, was confirmed to be intoxicated and is now charged under relevant laws.
