Chennai cop dies after being hit by speeding bike

A 53-year-old head constable, Kumaran, died in a head-on collision while on patrol duty in Chennai. The incident occurred when a high-speed bike collided with his vehicle on the Tambaram-Maduravoyal Bypass. Kumaran was thrown off his bike and died on the spot, while the biker survived with minor injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
