Ayodhya rape case: ‘Accused SP leader had committed similar crimes earlier’

A BJP delegation met the family of a 12-year-old rape survivor in Ayodhya and urged the Uttar Pradesh government to increase the compensation from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. The prime accused, affiliated with the Samajwadi Party, has been involved in similar crimes before. The delegation assured that strict action would be taken.
