‘Vinesh Phogat hospitalised after disqualification from Paris Olympics’

Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat was disqualified from the women’s 50kg freestyle final at the 2024 Paris Olympics due to being 100 grams overweight. Shortly after, she was hospitalized for dehydration. Currently, Vinesh is stable and resting in the Olympic Village. There’s no possible appeal for the disqualification decision.
