13-year-old girl swallows pin, docs retrieve it from her lung

A 13-year-old girl from Rajapur, Maharashtra, narrowly survived after inadvertently swallowing a pin while attempting to fix her scarf. Doctors initially couldn’t locate the pin via an endoscopic procedure, leading to suspicions it was in her lungs. Pulmonologist Dr Shahid Patel confirmed its presence in the left lung, and it was safely removed through a bronchoscopic procedure.
