3 students reach Kanpur school in hijab, denied entry for violation of dress code

Three Class 12 students of a Kanpur school created a situation by refusing to remove their hijabs despite the school’s dress code policy. After interventions by teachers and the principal, a compromise was reached where the girls could wear the hijab until entering the campus but had to remove it once inside.
