Central team visits Wayanad disaster spots, Kerala seeks Rs 2k crore for reconstruction

The state government requested Rs 2,000 crore from the Centre for reconstruction after the Mundakkai landslide. Immediate aid for rehabilitation and debris removal was also sought. The official death toll is 226, with 197 body parts recovered. Temporary housing for survivors will start soon, with 125 houses identified for relocation.
