Underground rumbling sound triggers concern in Kerala’s Wayanad

Residents in parts of Wayanad reported hearing loud underground sounds and feeling vibrations, causing panic. The district, still recovering from a recent landslide, saw several schools close and some activities suspend. Officials stated that no earthquake was recorded and suggested that soil layer friction might be the cause. Precautionary measures are being implemented.
