52.8 crore PM Jan-Dhan accounts opened

Union minister Pankaj Chaudhary revealed that 52.81 crore Jan-Dhan accounts have been opened with Rs. 2,30,792 crores in deposits. The majority are owned by women and located in rural areas. Various schemes like PMJJBY, PMSBY, APY, and PMMY were launched to boost financial inclusion and entrepreneurship, particularly for marginalized groups.
