Nawazuddin Siddiqui reflected on his childhood experience with a village girl who ignored him to watch TV. He promised her he would one day be on TV. Years later, after appearing in a Mumbai serial, he tried to contact her. She is now married with several children, and her husband restricts her from watching TV or leaving the house.
