Mayawati: Congress favours sub-classification

Mayawati criticized Congress for suggesting a consultation with NGOs and lawyers on sub-classification within SC/STs, implying their support for it. She also condemned the party for not crediting Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar for reservation. Despite having 99 MPs, Congress did not contest an SC order in Parliament regarding reservations on August 1, 2024.
