NIRF Rankings 2024: IISc Bengaluru tops university rankings

The Ministry of Education has announced the NIRF 2024 rankings, revealing the top universities in India. IISc Bengaluru retains its position as the best university, followed by JNU and JMI in New Delhi. The rankings, now in their ninth edition, evaluate institutions across various parameters, including teaching quality, research, and inclusivity. This year, three new categories were introduced: Open Universities, Skill Universities, and State-Funded Government Universities, reflecting the evolving landscape of Indian higher education.
