PMLA court frames charges against TMC MP Gokhale

A special PMLA court framed charges against TMC spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Saket Gokhale under the anti-money-laundering law. The case, based on a Gujarat Police FIR, alleged misuse of Rs 1.06 crore collected through crowdfunding for personal expenses. Gokhale’s request to keep the case in abeyance was denied by the court.
