Delhi police ensure safety on the UP-Delhi border on Independence Day

On the 78th Independence Day, East Delhi Police, in coordination with Uttar Pradesh police, enhanced security measures along the border. Rigorous vehicle checks, patrolling, and drone surveillance were undertaken to ensure safety. Drones and kites were monitored, and kite flying was banned till noon. Security in Shahdara and areas near the Red Fort was tightened with additional interstate forces deployed.
