Nitish hikes jobs creation target from 10 lakh to 12 lakh before 2025 polls

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar announced in his Independence Day speech that the state government would provide jobs to 12 lakh youths before the assembly elections next year. Under the ‘Saat Nischay Part-2’ programme, which initially aimed for 10 lakh jobs, 5.16 lakh youths have already been employed, with recruitment underway for 2 lakh more positions.
