Section of under-construction bridge over Ganga collapses in Bihar

An under-construction bridge over the Ganga in Bhagalpur collapsed on Saturday, as reported by officials. Khagaria’s District Magistrate Amit Kumar Pandey confirmed that a slab of the Aguwani-Sultanganj bridge fell around 8 am. The structure, deemed faulty, was already under orders to be dismantled by the contractor. No casualties were reported.
