Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Thangalaan’ pirated copy leaked online a day after its release

Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Thangalaan,’ directed by Pa Ranjith, premiered on August 15, 2024, receiving positive reviews. However, pirated copies surfaced a day later, disappointing fans who are reporting illegal links. Unlike ‘Thangalaan,’ other new releases like ‘Demonte Colony 2’ implemented forensic watermarking to curb piracy, preventing similar issues. The high-budget film boasts a notable cast and a GV Prakash Kumar soundtrack.
