Engineers install stoplog at Tungabhadra dam in Karnataka, offering relief to drought-hit farmers

Engineers at the Tungabhadra dam successfully installed a stoplog to prevent water wastage, bringing relief to drought-hit farmers in AP, Telangana, and Karnataka. Led by Kannaiah Naidu, the team managed to set the stoplog amidst heavy flood waters, saving the reservoir from massive water loss. The reservoir’s water level remains promising for future crop seasons.
