A recent study revealed that seemingly healthy foods like flavoured yoghurt, ketchup, and breakfast cereals might contain high levels of hidden sugar and saturated fats. The US government’s 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines recommend limiting these to less than 10% of daily calories. Consuming such foods can increase risks of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and other health issues.
