‘OPD on road’: To show how unsafe hospitals are, Nagpur doctors treat patients on footpath

Resident doctors at Mayo Hospital, Nagpur, protested by conducting OPDs outdoors, highlighting unsafe conditions in hospitals following a crime against a Kolkata doctor. Over 100 doctors participated, treating 150 patients. Nurses also protested with black armbands. The strike ended after AIIMS Nagpur officials and the Chief Justice of India intervened. They also requested an NOC to form an association.
