‘Safety ramifications:’ DGCA fines Air India Rs 99 lakh for serious rostering lapse

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has fined Air India Limited Rs 98 lakh for operating flights with non-qualified crew members. Additionally, the DGCA has imposed fines of Rs 6 lakh and Rs 3 lakh on the director of operations and the director of training of Air India, respectively.
