Global ophthalmology body honours Gullapalli N Rao

Dr Gullapalli N Rao, founder of the L V Prasad Eye Institute, received the ICO Jules François Golden Medal for 2024 at the World Ophthalmology Congress in Vancouver. This prestigious award, given every four years for high-quality ophthalmic work, recognizes Dr. Rao as the first Indian and one of only eleven global recipients.
