70 Uttarakhand villages depend on a single trolley to cross river

Villagers in Sondhar, Tehri Garhwal have depended on a decade-old rope-trolley to cross the Song river. Recent heavy rains have made the trolley too dangerous to use, leading students to miss school. The alternative 15-20 km trek is equally perilous during monsoons, leaving villagers with no safe option to cross the river.
