ED mounts probe into Qaida link in Jharkhand land scam

The Enforcement Directorate began investigating potential al-Qaida links in Jharkhand’s land scam involving CM Hemant Soren. The investigation led to the summoning of Babloo Khan, whose hospital was allegedly connected to al-Qaida suspects. Afsar Ali, arrested earlier, and his involvement in forgery were also under scrutiny. Soren was released on bail by Jharkhand High Court in June.
