Puducherry: Man gets 5-year RI for sex assault on minor

A Puducherry fast-track court sentenced a 44-year-old security guard to five years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting a seven-year-old girl in 2023. The incident occurred when the girl, waiting to be picked up by her mother, was lured and assaulted by the guard. The court also directed a compensation of 1 lakh to the victim.
