Another Marina makeover bid seeks to make vendors toe the line

Chennai Corporation planned to reduce illegal stalls on Marina Beach by limiting vendors to 900, as per a 2020 court order. Following a review, they will now execute this plan and introduce amenities like play areas, theatres, and seating zones. New vending licenses and amenities are part of the project expected to begin soon.
