Youth accused of attempting to molest girls shot at

In Sonitpur district, Assam, two men were arrested for allegedly attempting to molest two girls. During an investigation, one accused attacked police and tried to flee with a seized pistol. Police shot and injured him. Separately, in Tinsukia, another man was arrested for a similar offense against a teenage girl. Cases have been filed under relevant laws.
