In Davao city, police forces raided the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound searching for Apollo Quiboloy, accused of human trafficking and sexual abuse. The operation, involving extensive equipment, found no trace of Quiboloy. His group denies the charges, calling them fabrications by critics. The U.S. had previously indicted Quiboloy for similar offenses in 2021.
