Landslides ravage homes in Chamoli village, 129 roads closed in Uttarakhand

Heavy rains caused landslides, severely damaging homes and closing 129 roads in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district. Authorities relocated residents to safer locations, and a temporary bypass was created for the Badrinath Yatra. Locals are still awaiting proper rehabilitation as the threat of landslides continues to loom over the community.
