Meet with Manipur CM was encouraging: Army chief

Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi visited Manipur to ensure trust, peace and tranquillity in the state. He met with Chief Minister N Biren Singh, who highlighted the Centre’s serious approach to the crisis. Gen Dwivedi discussed ways to foster harmony among communities and reviewed the security situation along the international border.
