Design & construction flaws led to Choral tragedy

Structural failure due to design and construction flaws caused the collapse of a newly laid roof at an under-construction resort in Choral, resulting in five deaths. Officials launched an inquiry, revealing improper beam placement and inadequate welding. Those responsible have been booked for negligence under section 106 (1) of BNS, and unsafe structures at the site will be rebuilt.
