ISRO chief on why India missed chance to lead Sunita Williams’ rescue op

NASA selected SpaceX to return astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmore to Earth after an unexpected extension of their stay on the ISS. The astronauts’ return was delayed due to technical issues with Boeing’s Starliner. ISRO currently lacks the capability for space rescue missions, but aims to develop such capabilities in the future.
